Introductions are in order...

So today I decided to start a blog, for no particular reason. My life is pretty boring. But I thought this might be a way to get my creative juices flowing, while keeping friends and family updated on the current events in my little world. I'm NOT creative and I'm NOT a good writer. It is what it is. But welcome to my life!



This is my little guy, Conor. Yesterday we found out he needs tubes in his ears. He is 13 months old and has lived on antibiotics with constant ear infections since month 3. The doctor said his ears never drain, and he can't hear very well. He equated his ears to a swimming pool. And when the pool sits, bacteria takes over. When you add antibiotics, it is like adding chlorine to the pool. It makes the water clear, but you still can't hear under water. So next Friday we go in for tubes. Hopefully this will ease the ear infections until Conor is old enough to see an allergist, and also help with his hearing and speech. I know tubes are pretty common these days, but it is still a big deal to me. Wish us luck!!
